THE STORY

Lewis Vendredi made a deal with the Devil to sell cursed antiques, but he broke the pact and it cost him his soul. Now his niece Micki and her cousin Ryan have inherited the store... and with it, the curse. Now they must get everything back... and the real terror begins.

MESMER'S BAUBLE - Mesmer, the first Hypnotist used a pendant to hypnotize his patients. This bauble was stolen. Dropped by the thieves it was found by a homely record-store clerk, Howard Moore, who has an obsession with a pop star, Angelica. The bauble does not only hypnotize people but also grants wishes to he who uses it. But before a wish is granted the hypnotized person must die. With the bauble Howard will stop at nothing to gain everything he has ever desired. And what he really wants is Angelica. Micki and Ryan must do everything they can to stop Howard and save Angelica.

THE CHARACTER

Howard Moore is a kind gentle man with a good heart yet he is physically repulsive. After years of cruel teasing and rejection from others who make fun of his appearence he has become terrible insecure, self concious and lonely. His only respite from the cruel world is the music and image of Angelica, the popstar he loves from afar. After he discovers the bauble and its transformative powers his desires and dreams take hold and lead him deeper and deeper into destruction. As his ugly exterior becomes beautiful his beautiful heart becomes ugly. He may now be attractive, desireable and successful but everything has a price. Howard just does not realize how steep it is.
